Meet Heather and Michael Walker
For more than 36 years, Heather and Michael have served and cared for people in many different seasons of life, both across the United States and overseas. Along the way, they’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children, youth, college students, church members, people in crisis, first responders, pastors, missionaries, couples, and families.
Their heart for Only Hope Ministries comes not only from years of serving others, but also from their own experiences with brokenness, suffering, and difficult seasons. They know personally the value of having someone who will listen, care, and walk alongside you when life is hard.
Now in a season of life that allows them to devote themselves more fully to this work, Heather and Michael created Only Hope Ministries to provide Biblical counseling, care, and discipleship for individuals, couples, and families in need.
They are non-denominational, unapologetic followers of Christ. Their faith in Jesus shapes their lives, the way they care for people, and the way they love the world. Their desire is to offer Biblical counsel to anyone who seeks it, Christian or non-Christian.
Our Mission
Only Hope Ministries exists to provide Biblical counseling, care, and discipleship for individuals, couples, and families in need.
Our desire is to walk alongside people through life’s challenges with Biblical truth, compassionate care, and a listening ear. We seek to strengthen marriages, support individuals and families in times of need or crisis, and provide opportunities for rest, encouragement, and intentional care for pastors, missionaries, ministry couples, and first responders.
Whether someone comes to us for counseling, discipleship, marriage support, or simply a place to be heard, our hope is to care for the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—and point them toward the hope found in Christ.
Our Faith
We are non-denominational, unapologetic followers of Christ who believe Biblical truth offers hope and direction through life’s struggles.
Our faith shapes the way we care for people, but our doors are open to anyone seeking Biblical counsel—Christian or non-Christian. We believe Jesus has profoundly influenced our lives, the way we care for others, and the way we love the world.
Our own experiences with brokenness, suffering, and trials have shaped the way we approach ministry. We don’t believe people should have to walk through difficult seasons alone, and we consider it a privilege to listen, encourage, and walk alongside those who allow us to be part of their story.
